What’s an escape room?

+ What exactly happens in the rooms?

After your briefing concerning safety, rules and synopsis of the game you'll be playing, we lock you in the room. You and your team will then have 60 minutes to work together; finding clues and solving puzzles to escape the room and finish the game.

It's fun, exciting, adrenaline-pumping, and a great way to do something a little different with your family and friends!

+ Are your rooms safe?

Our rooms are 100% safe. We have eyes and ears on everything going on in the rooms and in every room there is a way to contact us while playing to ask for any hints, express any concerns, or just to have a friendly chat (we like that too, but it does tend to eat minutes off the clock).

You can also exit your room at any point throughout the game. At any point, there is a safe exit from the room. These will be outlined in your briefing prior to the start of the game. Keep in mind though, the clock keeps ticking even if you decide you need a break so we recommend planning ahead!

+ What if we don't escape in time?

We open the door as soon as your time is up. Again, you are free to exit at any point throughout the game as well.

We de-breif after every game to give you the chance to see the conclusion of the game and where you went wrong; having a good laugh along the way. We do our best not to tease you, but we make no promises.

+ What are our chances of escaping?

Anyone can escape our rooms; the trick is working together, communicating, and everyone giving a real effort. Also to note, you do not need any prior knowledge to solve our games. Everything you need to solve the rooms is contained within the rooms themselves.

Each game has a different difficulty level, and that can be found on the individual game pages. We design our games to be challenging but fair; fun, exciting and ultimately, solvable.

Our successful escape percentages range from 35% to 55%.

Who are they for?

+ Who are escape rooms meant for?

Escape rooms are for anyone who enjoys a creative challenge. They are incredibly fun, highly addictive and truthfully, something a bit different from your usual group activities.

If you like putting your creativity and ingenuity to the test with a group of your friends and family, then escape rooms are for you. They are definitely difficult but that difficulty leads to some adrenaline-pumping races to try and beat the clock.

+ Are your games suitable for kids?

There is no firm age minimum, however our games and puzzles are designed to be solved by ages 13 and over.

This is not to say that kids under 13 can't play and be successful (indeed sometimes they are even better than us older folks!), it is simply to illustrate that the games, puzzles, concentration and thinking involved are typically better suited for adults. We DO NOT recommend our games for groups made up entirely of kids under 12.

As far as the themes themselves, all of our themes are family friendly; so no worries there.

+ Is there an age limit?

There is no limit.

As long as you're able to move around reasonably well (our games are, unfortunately, not wheelchair accessible), and enjoy having fun, you are able to play an escape room.**

How much is it? Should we book?

+ How much does it cost?

Our games are regularly priced at $45 per person.

We have a kid's price of $25 per child (12 and under), but we do require that at least 2 full price tickets have been purchased for this price to apply.

If you're looking for group pricing, it's best to contact us and we'll be happy to discuss your options.

+ Do we need to book in advance?

We recommend booking in advance if possible to ensure you get to play the game you want at the time you want.

We cannot guarantee there will be someone on the premises if no games are booked, even if our hours say we are open.

+ How do we make a booking?

Right here on our website! Click 'BOOK NOW' anywhere on the site and simply pick a game, date and enter your details.

You can also give us a call at (441) 232-5687 if you would like to book outside normal hours or have a group larger than 6 people.

Please be aware that at the time of booking, you will need to pay a $5 per person deposit to hold your game for you so have a credit card ready.

+ What do you mean by 'private rooms'?

Many escape rooms will pair you up with strangers if you aren't able to fill all of the available spots in a room. Others may allow you to book a private room, however they require you to purchase every available spot at full price, even if you don't have that many people in your group. We don't like these things.

So we made all of our rooms private, at no extra cost to you, the customer.

We won't make you pay for unfilled spots, nor pair you up with people you don't know. Simply put, it's more fun this way.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy

We require a $5 per person deposit if you're booking more than 24 hours in advance. If you cancel with at least 24 hours notice, that deposit is refundable. If you cancel INSIDE of 24 hours, you will lose any deposit paid.

If you book for a time less than 24 hours away, you will be required to pay in full at the time of booking. That payment is non refundable.

Any arrival requirements?

+ When should we arrive for our game?

We REQUIRE that you arrive AT LEAST 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR START TIME.

This gives us enough time to ensure waivers are signed, check you in, and brief you on the rules and tips for your game prior to the game starting.

+ What happens if we're late?

There are two potential outcomes if the start of your game is delayed:

IF IT IS YOUR FAULT because you showed up late, we will start the clock at the time that was scheduled and you will have however much time is left on the clock once you finally do enter the room.

IF IT IS OUR FAULT because of earlier delays or simple day-to-day issues, you will get your full time in the room regardless of when you enter.

+ What should we bring and wear?

Yourselves, in a sober state (we use our discretion, but you're only hurting your chances at getting out the less sober you are) and some comfortable clothing. While not a highly active experience, you will need to be able to move freely.

We also suggest, if great eyesight isn't your strength, to bring any glasses or wear any contacts you have.

Food and drinks are not permitted in the rooms themselves, however you are free to snack in our lounge as long as you're prepared to share.

Any other hints?

+ Can't I just cheat and ask someone?

Why would you do that? The fun of escape rooms is figuring it out, finding the clues and generally playing them yourself. If you ask someone who's already played for hints, you're literally just ruining it for yourself.

Similarly if you've already played, don't tell people the secrets or play the game again. At that point, you're just ruining it for others.

Don't be that person.
